As a Critical Care Nurse,

I have contributed to saving patients’ lives next to their bedside throughout my whole career. I entered university in 2007 and majored in nursing. After graduation, I worked for 5 years in the emergency department (ER) and cardiac intensive care unit (CCU) at a tertiary university hospital. At that time, I was trained to understand the medical condition of individuals, so even when the patients did not know their needs themselves, I assessed their condition carefully and detected their . Over the my entire career, I became familiar with medical terminology and gained an understanding of various diseases and clinical workflow.

As a Clinical Informatician,

I am currently trying to produce evidence by analyzing medical data. I can analyze the medical data with “contextual awareness,” because the data to be analyzed is what I produced for 5 years. In other words, I can understand the medical data with a critical perspective, re-identify what really happened in the real world from the data, and understand problems originating from the gap between data and real world. I developed clinical machine learning algorithms regarding patient safety (such as readmission, unplanned extubation, patients prognosis prediction model, etc.)
